PRODUCT4 Commits to the Microsoft .NET® Framework
ST. LOUIS - (BUSINESS WIRE) - PRODUCT4, a leading developer of branch automation software, announced today it is migrating its entire product suite to the Microsoft .NET Framework. The firm also revealed that it is in negotiations with several banks that plan to adopt this emerging technology.
"We have been a Microsoft shop since our founding in 1991, and have built our applications to take advantage of the robust features and functionality inherent in its platforms," said Michael Ferguson, CTO of PRODUCT4. "We conducted an exhaustive evaluation of the various alternatives upon which to develop the next generation of branch automation software, and not surprisingly, the Microsoft .NET Framework came out on top. We are currently in the process of migrating our PRODUCT4 application suite to this new environment."
"We are delighted that PRODUCT4 has decided to move forward using the .NET Framework as their technology underpinnings," said Warren Lewis, managing director for the banking industry in Microsoft's financial services group. "Branch automation represents a significant opportunity for Microsoft to continue to provide the products that help financial institutions operate more efficiently, and ultimately, deliver superior customer service to their clients."
