SCC Chooses PRODUCT4 for Branch AutomationST. LOUIS - PRODUCT4, a leading developer of branch automation software, announced today it has been chosen by Service Centers Corporation (SCC) to provide branch automation functionality to all of its 51 shared branches, accessible to over 1,000 national shared branches in 38 states. SCC is a subsidiary of CO-OP Network, which operates a full-service EFT delivery network to credit unions throughout the United States.
"Enthusiasm about our credit union shared branch network is growing by leaps and bounds," said Ken Sucher, Senior Vice President and CIO of Service Center Corporation. "We needed to upgrade our teller systems with a solution that could provide us with robust functionality and scalability as we continue to expand and open branches and shared outlets throughout the US. In addition, we wanted a vendor who was totally committed to our success."
SCC conducted an extensive evaluation of other branch automation vendors, including their products, and staff associated with development and support. The criteria included: consolidation of electronic journal, user development tools, GUI interface, development staff, quality assurance staff, support staff, overall costs, and the ability to deploy various technical configurations.
PRODUCT4's Teller solution will be installed on more than three hundred workstations throughout SCC's branch network over the next eight months. PRODUCT4 Teller includes capabilities for handling financial and non-financial transactions, bond redemptions, check and money order, sales and customer referral, reporting, and anti-fraud features.
The PRODUCT4 branch automation suite includes Teller, New Accounts Platform, Customer Service Platform, Loan Origination, Call Center, Customer Care - CRM, sales tracking and reporting, and imaging functionality. Because of its innovative design, it can be easily tailored to fit a bank's unique operating environment by non-technical personnel.
"We are delighted to be working with an organization that is focused on providing their clients with leading-edge branch automation technology that better serves their customer bases, " said Daniel Moskowitz, President of PRODUCT4. "Concepts like shared branches are the wave of the future, and technology from PRODUCT4 can provide a solid foundation for distributed retail delivery. We anticipate a long and prosperous relationship with Service Center Corporation."
